- “Thomas & Friends Live! On Stage invites pre-schoolers and their families to enter a fanciful world of imagination and adventure where trains with engaging personalities create exciting stories for young and old.” (Allcroft, 2009).
I am a parent of a toddler who adores trains; especially Thomas the Tank Engine. Since I am from Philly, it is only across the bridge to get to Thomas and Friends Live on Stage which is being held this weekend over in New Jersey. I don’t know who is more excited, me or my toddler; since I love seeing him happy and surprised during new events. So I thought I would share this event for anyone who enjoys outings like this just as much as I do. By-the-way, don’t feel you are missing out just because you are too far away; this event also travels around so look up the lists of local shows and times in your area.

“It is becoming increasingly clear through research on the brain as well as other areas of study, that childhood needs play. Play acts as a forward feed mechanism into courageous, creative, rigorous thinking in adulthood.” –Tina Bruce, Professor, London Metropolitan
