Life Is Precious.

Photography by Dianne Furphy. Life is so precious and not entirely as long as I would like it to be. But life sure does give many gifts each day to wholeheartedly appreciate and be thankful for. Every day is a new day to learn, experience, grow, play, have fun, laugh and do whatever it is that I enjoy and love to do. We beings are so special…knowing that we have each other—in good times and bad. Especially family and friends; having family and friends are such a big part of life because without them, how can one get by without the support and love from others?! Even ‘strangers’… there is a uniqueness about each person due to not knowing them although they really are our sisters and brothers… After all, we are a human race, we are all family.

I work my very best at not taking anyone (or anything) for granted and I do know that each person that crosses my path are there for a very special reason. Life is everything, specifically being in the now of time and acknowledging all that I do have. Life on this earth is limited and there may not be another opportunity to be together with one another. I’ve learned that there are others that are more fortunate on so many different levels. But what I can share and offer to one another is kindness, love, patience, listen, do good deeds, cheer someone up, hold someone’s hand, make someone laugh, and express to those how I feel… since they may not always be there to do so. I take pride and gratitude in ME and all that I do have because I know that this very moment will be a moment that is behind me, for this very moment is all I have. Therefore, I cherish it and have faith that it will last a lifetime.

Give life all you got, give life the entire true YOU.

Love, Peace and Blessings,
Dianne Furphy

“In ordinary life we hardly realize that we receive a great deal more than we give, and that it is only with gratitude that life becomes rich.” -Dietrich Bonhoeffer

“The master of the art of living makes little distinction between his work and his play, his labor and his leisure, his mind and his body, his education and his recreation, his love and his religion. He hardly knows which is which; he simply pursues his vision of excellence in whatever he does, leaving others to decide whether he is working or playing. To him he is always doing both.” -Buddha

“Do what you love to do and give it your very best. Whether it’s business or baseball, or the theater, or any field. If you don’t love what you’re doing and you can’t give it your best, get out of it. Life is too short. You’ll be an old man before you know it.” -Al Lopez

“Learn to enjoy every minute of your life. Be happy now. Don’t wait for something outside of yourself to make you happy in the future. Think how really precious is the time you have to spend, whether it’s at work or with your family. Every minute should be enjoyed and savored.” -Earl Nightingale
