Do you ever look back at your younger years and recall many thoughts that you once had had that actually came true as you are now older? I know this has happened to me on numerous occasions. Or how about the famous saying, “That’s odd, I was just thinking about that song that is playing on the radio just the other day and I have not heard it in years…”—I have this happen to me a little too often with every day experiences. I can look back at my younger years and recall many experiences, thoughts, ideas, and premonitions; or whatever it was that my perspectives on my future was back then, my reality today matches it in such similar ways. When I was in my early teens, I can remember year after year, before I went to bed I would pray that when I was in my early twenty’s I would find a quality husband and have a healthy relationship that would last a life-time and have family together which is currently in the making. There are many more experiences that I will share along my journey in life as I begin to explore blogging—eating disorders, drug addiction, death of a parent, and having a distant father—only to name a few. The reason for my sharing my previous paragraph is because I am hoping to share and open up my experiences through my writing and blogging, something I am devoted to; to help others cope with their hard obstacles and troubles in life. I overcame the hardest moments in my life which I thought I would never be able to get through due to the lack of a support system. However, one strategy that pulled me out one of my most difficult times was a book and a pen. I still have my diary from 3rd grade but I think it started prior to that… After all, imagination does start from the very beginning.

This is my son's five month ultrasound.
Keep in mind that everyone has different beliefs, morals, values, and backgrounds… Therefore, everyone’s perspectives and opinions are different… Growing up I was raised in a Catholic school system which played a huge [confusing] role in my life, I went to a Catholic elementary school and an all girls Catholic high school. My parents grew up with the same background; therefore, being Catholic was pushed on me without even thinking or questioning else wise. I do remember when I was younger always wondering about God and all the stories I was told in school just never made sense to me. Well not until I was in my early 20’s I started learning to think “outside of the box.” I owe this to my fiancé that I have been with for 10 years, other positive influences such as my cousin and dear friend Lisa and a Documentary and a Book called The Secret by Rhonda Byrne which also wrote the The Power which both deeply inspired me. This is when I also started making a transition in my life and started learning to get to know me, the real me. Now as an adult, I have found a belief I hold sacredly than from when I was a child…I now believe in Love or in other terms, The Law Of Attraction. I believe with this belief of it even possibly being You; your inner self, a person can be as powerful as they want to be to create their own life; their own reality. Furthermore, I can remember a time in 7th grade that I was so interested yet so confused about the universe and planets. I just could not comprehend it although I remember feeling something special about it. Every morning that I wake up is another day that I believe in my premonitions which makes them that much stronger and powerful; especially the more I send out Love. It is like me thinking of something in the morning which I create for my future because most of the time, whether it be the same day, a day or two later or even months or years later, I will bring that thought to me in another form, basically anything that my thought consisted of actually takes place in my reality. Thinking back as a young girl, I can remember having such an originality visual in my mind of certain places, people, events or whatever it may have been that I will/have encounter[ed]… And I would have to say majority of things came true throughout my years of living. I know I am the one creating this life I live. Moreover, I am still living some childhood thoughts that I have created for myself and I now try to focus hard on the good and think positive thoughts and have an optimist attitude and a positive behavior because I believe that my actions, thoughts and emotions now will have an affect on my future. If you truly believe in yourself to the fullest, you can–create what you want—to have the life you want.

I do truly believe that imagination can take a person a long way in life. As a child, I remember having such creative thoughts and visuals —which I believe I still have such an extraordinary imagination. I have been told my whole life by my loved ones that I am, “weird but in a good way,” and growing up, my mother would always tell me, “It is okay to be different,” especially since I always got teased and I was on and off with not having friends. I think being unique has gotten me where I am in my present day which I would say is pretty awesome considering the obstacles I had to accomplish… I truly believe that experiences are what make a person stronger. I have gained a lot of wise knowledge over my 29 young years of life. From being a mother, a long-term partner, a recent graduate—holding a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology and an Associates of Early Childhood Education, a daughter, a sister, a friend, a cousin, an aunt and someone who hopes that my blog can inspire, guide and help children, teenagers, and adults through there difficult times in life. I would also like to share with others my writing about what crosses my mind from time-to-time about everyday life including family, media, news, politics, religion, weather, friends, relationships, work, parenting, or whatever it may be that I am feeling that day. So come along on my journey with the thoughts that cross my mind which also create the bizarre encounters that I experience!
